GB18613, GB30253 and GB30254 are all motor energy efficiency value limit requirements for different series of products. They are also special provisions for the efficiency of corresponding products. They will not conflict with the technical conditions corresponding to the products. However, as far as the efficiency index of the motor is concerned, the efficiency index specified in the technical conditions of any product under the constraints of the mandatory standards should not be lower than the minimum limit value requirements of the corresponding mandatory standards.
From the reference standards of the motor technical conditions, we can see that for the efficiency index regulations of the motor, whether it is the mandatory requirements standard of the motor or the technical conditions of the corresponding product, they are all based on IEC60034-30-1, so there will be no contradiction between the two in determining the efficiency index. For example, the relatively widely used basic series motors, YE2, YE3, YE4 and YE5 motors, different series of motors correspond to different efficiency levels in the IEC standard, and the energy efficiency of the YE5 motor corresponds to the highest energy efficiency level IE5 specified in the current IEC standard.
With the improvement of our country's requirements for motor energy efficiency, the minimum limit value in the 2020 version of GB18613 is IE3, which corresponds to the YE3 series products; YE2 and previous Y2 and Y series products can no longer be produced and sold because their energy efficiency does not meet the requirements. Another question is, in addition to the improvement of efficiency indicators, will other performance indicators of high-efficiency motors deteriorate? It can be said with certainty that the mandatory requirements for energy efficiency are only for the requirements of motor efficiency indicators. The technical conditions of the motor will set the efficiency indicators under the requirements of this standard. We will take the technical conditions of the YE4 motor as an example to illustrate this issue.
At present, the standard corresponding to the technical conditions of the YE4 series motor is JB/T 13299-2017. The efficiency indicators of the motor are set according to IE4, and specific requirements are put forward for the determination of motor efficiency, which is consistent with the provisions of GB18613. The power factor and other performance indicators of the motor are stipulated in the technical conditions, that is, while the motor efficiency indicators are improved, other performance of the motor must be guaranteed to meet the requirements. From a technical perspective, high-efficiency motors require sufficient design technology and process technology to lay the foundation. Relatively speaking, the cost of high-efficiency motors is relatively high. However, from the perspective of long-term energy saving and environmental protection factors, high-efficiency motors will be the protagonists of the future motor market.
