The YKS series high-voltage motors are derived from the Y series high-voltage motors. This series of products features an air-water cooling installed on the top of the motor and is equipped with a water leakage detection alarm device.

Description

The YKS series high-voltage motor, produced by Wolong Nanyang, features a box-type structure and is manufactured by the Wolong Group, which also includes brands such as ATB motor, Brook Crompton and SCHORCH. The YKS series is constructed with a welded box-shaped base made from steel plates, resulting in a lightweight yet robust design. The Y series motor is available in two versions: one with a top cover installed and one with a shutter installed in the opening of the side plate of the base. The YKS series motor is equipped with an air-water cooler on the top of the motor and is fitted with a water leakage detection alarm device. The stator features an external pressure structure, the stator winding is constructed with F-class insulation material, the 10kV motor employs dependable anti-corona measures, the winding end is securely fixed and bound, and the motor is treated with a vacuum pressure impregnation solvent-free paint process (VPI), resulting in excellent insulation performance, high mechanical strength, robust moisture resistance, and an extended service life.

The squirrel cage rotor comprises two structures: cast aluminium and a copper bar. The product is manufactured using advanced and reliable casting and welding processes, and is dynamically balanced. Consequently, the motor operates with optimal efficiency and reliability.

The bearings are of the rolling and sliding variety. The level of protection is IP54 or IP55, dependent on the power and speed of the motor. The rolling bearings are equipped with non-stop oil injection and drainage devices as standard.

YKS series is designed for use in general mechanical equipment, including fans, water pumps, compressors, crushers, chip cutting machines, transportation machinery, and other similar equipment used in a range of industrial sectors, including petroleum, chemical, coal, power stations, metallurgy, transportation, textile, medicine, and grain processing.
